The OMM-3000 NIR Online Moisture Meter was developed with state of art optoelectrics technology. Conventinal moisture analyzers are associated with time consuming calibration (involving such operations as regression analysis,calibration curve fitting and statistical processing)which calls for specialist. The OMM-3000 solves this problems by incorporating an on-board microprocessor for quick and with combinating PC software without special training. The double filtering techniques which differs from the conventional approach substantially improves the accuracy and stability and allows measurement of many previous immeasurable materials such as white shinning chips and black bodies of coal and coke. This type of analyzer provides a very wide range of applications for moisture analysis.

The OMM-3000 can be installed in many different process environments. For example, the OMM-3000 sensor can be installed above conveyor belt, a bar conveyor or a screw conveyor, while the PC can be installed in the control room. The PC can be up to 1000m away from the sensor. Each situation is different so during installation, the OMM-3000, the sample and the conveyor must be adjusted accordingly. An example of this is with the conveyor belt, the irregularity of the material surface on the conveyor should be held to +/-50mm. Instead of Scathe control unit is connected directly with the sensor.
